These Referral Program Terms (the "Program Terms") govern the Wedy Refer & Earn program (the "Program") operated by Wedy, Inc. ("Wedy", "we" or "us"). By generating a referral link you agree to these Program Terms, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not participate in the Program.
The Program is open to Wedy vendor account owners in good standing. You enroll by generating your unique referral link from the Refer & Earn dashboard; generating the link constitutes your acceptance of these Program Terms. The referral link belongs to the account, and rewards are paid to the account owner. Wedy may accept or refuse participation at its discretion.
The reward rates in effect when you enroll are recorded for your account. If we change the Program’s reward rates later, your recorded rates continue to apply to your future referrals unless these Program Terms are terminated or you re-enroll under new rates.
A "Qualified Referral" is a person who (a) has never previously held a paid Wedy subscription (a person with an existing free Wedy account remains eligible), (b) visits Wedy through your referral link, (c) purchases a paid Wedy subscription (annual or monthly), and (d) remains an active, paying subscriber through the holding period described in Section 4. Referrals are attributed on a first-click basis: the first referral link a visitor uses is stored for up to 180 days, and a signup within that window is attributed to that referrer. Attribution requires that the signup or checkout carries your link’s referral code; a person who signs up without coming through your link’s flow may not be attributed to you. You cannot refer yourself, your own business, or additional accounts you control.
The reward rates described below are the Program’s general rates. Wedy may set different reward rates, tiers, or bonuses for individual accounts at its sole discretion; the rates that actually apply to your account are the ones recorded for your account and shown on your Refer & Earn dashboard. No participant is entitled to the rates or terms offered to another.
For each Qualified Referral, members earn $100 for an annual subscription and $100 for a monthly subscription. Members also earn milestone bonuses as the rewards for their Qualified Referrals are paid: a $200 bonus with the 5th paid referral reward and a further $200 bonus with the 10th. Total member referral earnings are capped at $10,000. Once you reach the cap, further Qualified Referrals do not earn additional rewards while you remain in the member tier. The invite-only Educator tier is not subject to this cap.
The Wedy Educator tier is invite-only. Educators earn $200 for each annual-subscription Qualified Referral and $100 for each monthly-subscription Qualified Referral, plus volume bonuses per Qualified Referral, counted in the order referral rewards are paid: an additional $25 each for referrals 6–25, $50 each for referrals 26–50, $75 each for referrals 51–100, and $100 each for referrals 101 and beyond. To keep Educator status, an Educator must generate at least 5 Qualified Referrals in each rolling 365-day period, reviewed annually; otherwise the account returns to the member tier. Each referral is rewarded at the tier and rates in effect for your account on the date that referral subscribes; a later tier change affects only referrals who subscribe after the change. Milestone bonuses (member tier) and volume-bonus positions (Educator tier) are counted only among your referrals rewarded at that same tier; referrals rewarded at a different tier do not count toward the other tier’s bonus thresholds, and your position in a tier’s bonus schedule does not carry across a tier change.
A person who subscribes through your referral link receives 2 months off their first year on an annual plan, or 30% off their first 2 months on a monthly plan. The discount is applied automatically at checkout and is available only to subscribers who have never previously held a paid Wedy subscription.
A referral becomes payable only after the referred subscriber has remained an active, paying subscriber for 100 business days from their first subscription payment. If the referred subscriber cancels, is refunded, is charged back, or their subscription otherwise ends during this holding period, no reward is earned for that referral.
Rewards are paid in U.S. dollars by transfer to the Stripe account connected to your Wedy account. You must have a connected Stripe account that is enabled for payouts to receive rewards; matured rewards remain pending until your payout account is connected and enabled. Rewards are paid net of any transfer, currency-conversion, or bank and payment-provider fees incurred in paying you; you are responsible for such fees, and we may deduct them from your reward. Reward calculations are based on our records. If you believe a reward was calculated or paid incorrectly, you must notify us within thirty (30) days of the payment; we may recover amounts paid in error, and we may withhold, offset, or reverse rewards obtained in violation of these Program Terms. We may also suspend or hold any payout while we review or investigate suspected fraud or a violation of these Program Terms.
You are solely responsible for any taxes on Program rewards. Where required by law, Wedy (through its payment processor, Stripe) will report payouts and issue applicable tax forms, such as IRS Form 1099, and you agree to provide any information reasonably required for such reporting.

Violation of this section, as determined by Wedy in its sole discretion, may result in forfeiture of pending rewards, removal from the Program, and suspension or termination of your Wedy account.
The Program uses a first-party cookie to attribute signups to your referral link for up to 180 days. Your Refer & Earn dashboard shows you the name and progress status of vendors who signed up through your link, and referred vendors’ signup pages may display your name and profile photo. Our Privacy Policy describes how Wedy collects, uses, and shares this information.
Wedy may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, or update these Program Terms, at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of these Program Terms and, where appropriate, by additional notice in the product. Changes do not affect rewards already earned. Your continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Program Terms. You may leave the Program at any time by ceasing to participate, and Wedy may end your participation at any time, with or without cause. Your participation also ends automatically upon a material breach of these Program Terms or the suspension or termination of your Wedy account.
You represent and warrant that you have the authority to participate in the Program; that your promotion of your referral link complies with all applicable laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act and the TCPA; and that any content, materials, or channels you use to promote it do not infringe or violate the rights of any third party.
Wedy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable right to use your referral link and any referral materials we provide, solely to promote the Program in accordance with these Program Terms; all goodwill arising from that use is for Wedy’s sole benefit. You may use Wedy’s name and logos only as needed to share the materials we provide, and neither party may use the other’s name, marks, or materials in a misleading, disparaging, or unlawful manner. Wedy may identify you as a Program participant and reference your participation in its own marketing.
The Program is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. The disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations in our Terms of Service apply to your participation in the Program. In addition, you will defend, indemnify, and hold Wedy harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your promotion of your referral link, your content, or your breach of these Program Terms.
You take part in the Program as an independent party. Nothing in these Program Terms creates any employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between you and Wedy, and you may not represent otherwise. You are responsible for your own conduct in promoting your referral link and for complying with all applicable laws.
